Playing Format

The format is “Captain’s Choice” (four person teams). There are no restrictions concerning team line-ups and every effort will be made to fill all teams. Complimentary specialty contests (Closest to the pin, long drive, hole-in-one, etc.) will be open to all participants.

There will be a “Shotgun Start” at 9:00 am with registration starting at 7:30 am.

Hole assignments will be made during registration.

Registration Information
Each golfer and team registration includes a continental breakfast, lunch, complimentary green fees (for future use) for each player and prizes.

The Games and Gathering registration includes entrance to the club where various games and gathering functions will be offered, including card games, board games and Wii video games. A golf pro will be available to provide lessons for a minimal additional fee. For those interested in participating, there will be a free shuttle leaving Trinity Episcopal Church at 9:30 am, May 19, 2008 for transportation to and from the event.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be in writing and must be received by Trinity Church prior to May 9, 2008. Cancellations should be directed to Maurice Spraggins or Arlene Casimiro at 2217 Columbia Pike, Arlington, Virginia 22204. No refunds will be provided for cancellation requests received after May 9, 2008.

About the Course

Penderbrook Golf Club is a picturesque 18-hole par 71 championship golf course located within the highly regarded Penderbrook Community. The course is open to the public and boasts some of the most challenging holes in the metro area. Club selection is a must as five of the holes require a well placed shot over lakes and ponds. Penderbrook Golf Club is professionally managed by Arnold Palmer Golf Management and over $1.5 million in improvements have been completed over the last 12 months. A full service pro shop and a beautiful restaurant “Traditions Cafe” round out this wonderful facility.

Directions

• From Interstate 66 Exit 57, Fair Oaks and Winchester
(Route 50 North)
• West Ox Road North
• Right at first traffic light which is the entrance to Penderbrook and Penderbrook Drive
• Follow this to the end, past apartments, townhouses, condos, and single family homes
• Road turns into Golf Trail Lane
• Golf Club is straight ahead at the end
